About Me

Welcome to  my blog “Under A Twilight”.   My hope is through this blog I can touch your heart and possibly impact your walk in a positive way as well as bring awareness to the late hour that we live in.  Life’s events shape us into who we are today, hence I have a lot of perspective on life, God, love, family and relationships. I’m a deep thinker, contemplative, introspective, quirky, silly, spontaneous, daring, ambitious and fiercely loyal.  I strive to pick up my cross daily and follow Christ whom I love with all of my heart, soul and mind.

I grew up in a very traditional Catholic home which meant attending church every Sunday as a family was the norm as well as sitting at the table every evening eating dinner together.  However, I did not have a personal relationship with Christ then.  In my early adult life I accepted Christ by way of my brother sharing the gospel with me when he was away in military service. I then walked with Christ for a few solid years until I was lured  into the world, resulting in 7 years of backsliding. Suffice to say I have gone through hell and back due to bad decisions and a brief time spent in the Hollywood scene. The enemy of our souls knows those that are Christians and he certainly made the appeal of the world enticing.  Thankfully God had other plans for me and he called me back in a very powerful way.  By his grace and mercy he has restored me fully and blessed me beyond measure in all areas of my life.

Throughout my journey the Lord has been faithful and my rock as he continually transforms me and demonstrates His awesome power in my life.   I am deeply humbled and blessed to hear from His Spirit.   In this new season of my life I am thrilled on the path he is now leading me on as he guides me into a new ministry function.

His Vision, His Goals, Obedience and a Life of Surrender

In Christ,

God’s Not Dead (Like a Lion) –

Let Love explode and bring the dead to life

A love so bold to see a revolution somehow

Let love explode and bring the dead to life

A love so bold to bring a revolution somehow

Now I’m lost in Your freedom

And this world I’ll overcome

My God’s not dead, He’s surely alive, He’s living on the inside

Roaring like a Lion, God’s not dead he’s surely alive, He’s living on the inside, roaring like a lion.
he’s roaring, He’s roaring like a Lion!

Let hope arise and make the darkness hide.

My faith is dead, I need a resurrection somehow

Now I’m lost in your freedom

And this world I’ll overcome !

Behold, I have refined you, but not as silver; I have tried you in the furnace of affliction. ~  Isaiah 48:10

And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you. ~ 1 Peter 5:10

“And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions. ~ Joel 2:28

  1. Greetings – I found your website today while I was doing a web search on Noah.
I am so happy the Lord directed me here!
Recently, I began a blog on prayer – it’s not near as lovely as this website yet but I am just learning. I pray we can all be an encouragement to one another during these end times. May God bless you richly in your ministry!

  2. Dear TwilightRose: I have come to know of you from being a member on ATN; I, too, used to live in Los angeles for 33 years–then relocating up to Canada in 2002 to work as a Social Worker. I received my Masters of Social Work degree from University of Southern California in 2000. I’m a native of the Chicago area.

I do have my “Joseph-type” story to share with you and your readers at some point in time, that, perhaps, can be an encouragement to those seeking to walk the “narrow path” that leads to the kingdom of heaven. For it was Paul that stated that: “Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter the kingdom of God” (Acts 14: 22).

Most importantly–I am a man of God–covered in the the Holy blood of Yahshua–our Missiah and Lord and Savior! This is my first time coming to your web site. I look forward to drinking in your site–and know that some deep-seated truths and expectations will be found here.

    Be blessed,

    Your brother in Christ,

    Sandy Champion

  3. Dear Mr. Champion,

Hello and thank you for visiting my site! Glad to meet another former Angeleno. I would like to hear about your Joseph story sometime. I have yet to post my full testimony, that will be forthcoming. God bless you.

    In Christ,

  4. Thanks for stopping by my blog yesterday, Lucy. I thought I would return the favor and check yours out today and I LOVE the theme! Yes! Let’s be so heavenly minded that we’re earthly good. 🙂
Look forward to reading about your adventures with Him. Blessings.
